Thank you!!

On a final note as we drive back from JFK. Thank you all for your prayers. Good news to report Sharon recovered enough to continue for a second week. She is serving with John Powers and The DR Mission Team in LaRomana.
Also, Sandra arrived in Florida safe and sound with her family. Continue to lift her family up as her Mom is struggling with Cancer.

2016 Team TCI Returns to USA

We are very fortunate to have the privileged to serve in the Dominican Republic. My Zion has become our second family. Hard to leave Consuelo but our work continues to improve the lives we able to work with in a small way and we were blessed in the process as well. Thank you to everyone who supported our efforts financially and standing with us in prayer. Blessings!!

Urgent Prayer Needed

Please lift up Sharon Pierpont in prayer. She isn't feeling well but toughed out the day with the medical team today. We need a touch from God if she is to continue here in the DR for next week. We appreciate prayer coverage for Sharon. Please pray for Sandra Simoes as she learned her Moms condition has worsened in Florida. The family is having a meeting in Florida Saturday so we may have to arrange a flight tomorrow to get her there. Appreciate Prayer coverage on that. Good news is Kathy is at 90% strength and getting stronger daily.

Medical Today

With Sharon not feeling well today I jumped onto the medical team. Team TCI arrived in Consuelo and Left behind the Dental team and Construction team for their work. We loaded supplies and vitamins and off we went on the bus to Alejandro  Bass to do the medical clinic. Only one problem we left the doctors behind! So Dr Kiley springs into action! Gloves, mask, stethoscope ready to go!
Actually we went back for the doctors, good thing for the patients! Dr Kiley was ready though....

Prayer Warriors Needed

Please pray for Sharon Pierpont as she has developed a bad cold. Please pray for healing. It's doubtful she will be able to work today. Pray she be restored to be able to rejoin the team.  Thanks!!

Tuesday Success

All 3 TCI Teams had a great day in spite of hard down pouring rain for most of the day. Medical saw 150 patients in San Pedro, Dental about 65 patients and the house construction is almost ready to begin the roof today. Stay tuned

Dr Russo School of Dentistry

Dr Russo began a new school of dentistry in Consuelo today. The first student enrolled and took no time to spring into action. Now taking applications for future students

Jose Cueto is a good man!

Last year Team TCI 2015 picked Jose Cieto as our DR political candidate because we liked his slogan- thumb and index finger together forming a circle and the other three fingers extended upward.
Talking with Pastor Julio he says Jose is a good representative and tries to help those in the Bateys. Good to hear TCI picked an honorable man. Now we want to bring him to the States and run him for President!  Jose Cieto for President!

Prayer Warriors-Prayer Alert

Please pray for Kathy Kiley. She has been in bed sick Saturday and Sunday with respitory issues. She is on an antibiotic and seems to be coming around. Still has bad cough. Please pray for healing that she can rejoin the team in the morning for clinics day one. Believing God for healing that she can do what God called her to do here in the DR. Thanks for your prayer!

Team TCI Sunday

Today was a prep day for Team TCI where we went to Good Samaritan Hospital in LaRomana for additional meds for our clinics which start tomorrow morning. The vitamins provided by Watson Company of West Haven were delivered from the US embassy by our friend Mark (far left)  from the US Marshalls Service.(See Picture)

Our friend Moises Siefren also took us for a tour of the hospital and gave us a mini documentary story of Good Sam and Pastor Fenord and his vision for serving the community through medical service. Moises also shared how he was a Batey kid growing up the oldest of 11 children. His mom died while pregnant with his sister because of a doctor strike when Moises was 17. Emergency surgery was performed and his sister survived. She is now 30 yrs old. Pastor Fenord and community leaders promised that this with Gods help should never happen again to any women in our community. Moises shared about his calling to Good Sam as well. The day concluded with worship service in the Batey. Great time together with our Brothers and sisters

Airport TSA

We arrived in time with no issues. I thought it was funny that 1/2 the team were selected for PreChek but the US Marshall in the group had to go through full security!

Team TCI Off to JFK

Team TCI departed Trinity Church at 6am this morning with family and friends hugging and praying us off. Please pray for healthy bodies. Pray for Kathy Kiley specifically as she deals with respitory issues.
