Awesome Mission Week Concludes

3 teams and unbelievable results for the week!  The construction team completed 8 homes this week. New floors were poured and the team persevered through the heat. Literally changed the lives of these 8 families who had dirt floorsl kudos to team leader Matt Parker and his team
The Dental team saw over 300 patients for the week. The took time to pray and care for each patient. At one point 5 dentist were working at once led by Dr Jane Russo. Great job team!
The Medical Team was seeing on an average of 130-150 patients a day. Two doctors had surgeries to perform Wednesday so we only had two doctors and got backed up. Thursday we had to see 43 + patients from Wednesday and all of Thursday's patients. We were afraid we were going to have to turn some away. At the end of the day over 250 patients were seen. Two days work in one!  It was awesome how the whole team pulled together and got the job done. The team was led by Sharon Pierpont and did and outstanding job ministering in 3 locations. God is good !

Friday-Jesus Movie

Friday night the team went back to San Pedro to show the Jesus movie. We popped pop corn for everyone and prayed for the community. Over 100 people came to the event. Great night!

Team TCI treats 335 patients on last day

The medical team served in San Pedro today and Dental team in Consuelo. Both teams set TCI records for most patients in a day. It was a blessing to be able to work alongside the church here in the DR. It was a long hot day but well worth it to see so many helped with care they would not have gotten otherwise. Kudos to Good Sam and Moises for supplying us with refill meds 2x. Team efforts and partnerships on many levels. And of course nothing happens without the Lord going before us. Very grateful!! To God be the glory!

Doctor Rory

DR RORY
After church service one gentlemen approaches Rory Ahearn and opens his mouth starts describing what his problem was. Rory nodding his head was taking it all in "Yes I understand. Let me see". My wife is taking all this in says to the guy "excuse me, she's the dentist" pointing to Jane! He looked disappointed and said oh with a frown on his face. Rory is looking for a referral fee from Jane. Too funny. You can't make this stuff up!

DR Fathers Day

Today is Fathers Day. Since we have been in the DR Jake Horensavitz had been joking that I was his DR Dad. I said ok if I am dad do you have my Fathers Day Card and gift?  We joked all day and I came back to my room to find this note on the door and balloons all over the room. Made me laugh!

On our way

Team TCI on our way to pick up meds for clinic which starts tomorrow.  Here we are on the bus. Say a prayer for me as I will bring the message from Gods Word at Mt Zion Church this afternoon. Thank you to all our prayer team who are praying for us

Team TCI is safe and sound in the DR. We made record time getting the the airport and the fastest time ever getting through the airport. Very grateful. Everyone's exhausted as we finished dinner and our team meeting. We concluded our meeting and had to laugh as Doctor Russo our dental team leader asked if anyone had an extra tooth brush! She forgot her toothbrush!! The dentist forgot her toothbrush. Lol. Check back tomorrow for more TCI updates!
